ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Peter Danish is the Editor-in-Chief of BWW Classical, one of the world's more popular classical music sites, and the Director of Marketing for The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.  BWW is one of the most visited entertainment sites in the world, with several million visitors monthly.  He develops and contributes regular content including classical concert reviews, new CD reviews as well as interviews with leading, world-class artists. 

His play, “Gods, Guns and Greed,” was chosen by the White Plains Performing Arts Center for its “First Look” series, and the play will be given a reading at the prestigious Actor’s Studio in NY this fall and a full production by The Shades Repertory Theater in November.   His musical, “The Flying Dutchman,” was chosen by the Riverspace Performing Arts Center for a staged reading as part of its “New Works” series.  He was recently selected by J. Quinn Productions to write the book for the upcoming Broadway musical:  “The Cotton Club,” based on the famous film of the same name.   “The Tenor” is his first work of fiction (he is currently putting the finishing touches on two other novels and a collection of non-fiction, short stories)

 

He has spent over two decades as a media marketing executive in the media industry (Director of Marketing NBC, Vice President of Marketing Telemundo, Senior Vice President of Marketing Azteca Television, Director of Marketing New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts).   His writing has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Ad Age, Ad Week and Media Week.
